2024 Year End Review from Tamara

Reflecting on 2024 with Gratitude and Optimism

As 2024 comes to a close, I’m reminded of the unique challenges and opportunities this year brought. While many hoped for a more significant drop in interest rates, the Federal Reserve’s delays and modest cuts kept 30-year conventional mortgage rates between the mid-7s to mid-6’s (currently 6.875% to 7.125% depending on mortgage balance). This tempered the typically fast-paced spring market and brought a more measured rhythm to the fall.

Even so, Seattle and King County’s real estate market demonstrated resilience. In select neighborhoods and price ranges, high demand and limited inventory kept things moving. Through it all, I’ve been privileged to help my clients navigate their personal real estate journeys — a role that continues to bring me joy, even amidst the challenges.
